Cancellation Policy

 

Master Travel Group (MTG) uses four different cancellation policies, depending on the specific tour or activity you choose. Please be sure to verify which one is applicable to your chosen experience prior to confirming your booking.

 

All information can be found on every experience we offer under the Cancellation Policy section.

 

If you have an existing booking, you can verify the applicable cancellation policy by checking the Cancellation Policy section of your booking.

 

  1. Day Tour
    • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 48 hours before the experience’s start time.
    • If you cancel less than 48 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
    • Any changes made less than 48 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
    • Cut-off times are based on New Zealand time.

     

  2. Custom Group
    • The specific terms and conditions for an experience with a custom itinerary, the cancellation policy will be provided by our consultant while quotation.

     

  3. ADS Inbound Group
    • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 30 full working days before the experience’s start time.
    • If you cancel less than 29 full days before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
    • Any changes made less than 14 full days before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
    • Cut-off times are based on New Zealand time.

     

  4. Multiple Days Domestic Tours
    • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 7 full days before the experience’s start time.
    • Any changes made less than 3 full days before the experience’s start time will not be accepted. For a 50% refund, you must cancel 3-6 full days before the experience’s start time.
    • If you cancel less than 2 full days before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
    • Cut-off times are based on New Zealand time.

     

    Special Note Regarding Covid-19

    • Master Travel Group Limited (MTG) priority is to ensure all our travelers have a safe experience. So if a tour departure is cancelled due to Covid-19 government travel restrictions, we will transfer your deposit to a future tour dates of your choosing or full refund.
    • If your tour is not affected by Covid-19 restrictions our standard cancellation conditions apply.
